Without too much preliminary angst, I got up (after my morning Ken Ken), mixed paint and worked on Rose’s face. I would say I’m 80% there–it is not quite Rose yet. I’m looking for that indefinable something that will make her daughters say, “Why …That’s Mom!”
And it has to hold up from five feet away. What I have now looks pretty fair at 15 inches, but falls apart with distance. I think this means I have to reinforce values. And give her a little wider smile.
