I got points today from Carol and Jane for color-matching the scene. It was a very gray morning, a bit drizzly at times. I stayed 10 minutes longer than the others so I could finish the foreground. I crowded the rocks a bit; probably should have left more of an inviting opening. The trees in the middle were, as usual, my bane. At the very end I remembered to put in the ubiquitous mustard. I’ll go back and paint this one again sometime.
